There has been a deliberate effort to frustrate the Corner Tribe community for the last 9 months on issuance and processing of ID cards despite the president’s directive.
We suspect that the current leadership of Mandera East is doing it deliberately to avoid political competition.
I make an urgent appeal to President William Samoei Ruto and the Ministry of Interior and National Administration to kindly fast-track the issuance of national identity cards in Neboi and Khalaliow wards.
Many of our youths are being unfairly denied this opportunity. Without IDs, they cannot access education, employment, or fully participate in nation-building.
This is a matter of dignity, equality, and justice. We urge swift action so that no one is left behind and every citizen can contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation.
