oday, I had the honour of joining fellow leaders and community members at a thanksgiving ceremony appreciating the leadership of Somalia, following the appointment of Jibril Abdirashid as Interim President of the Southwest State of Somalia.
This occasion reflects the strong bonds that unite our people across borders—built on shared history, culture and a common vision for peace, stability and progress.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Jibril Abdirashid as he takes on this important responsibility. I am confident that his leadership will contribute to strengthening governance, unity and development for the people of Southwest State.
